The Ninja-Pirates do not take candy from babies

We've heard from some people who feel that Impact's ticket prices are already so low (not to mention pay-what-you-wish nights), it seems churlish to earn free tickets to our shows.

If that's you as well, you're exactly the kind of person we want among the Ninja-Pirate ranks: someone who cares deeply about Impact's success. There's a lot more to being a Ninja-Pirate than getting free tickets—it's getting the word out about Impact shows. It's getting exclusive access to special Ninja-Pirate stuff. It's being part of a community of the truly dedicated Impact fan base. Who knows? You could even make a Ninja-Pirate love connection!

Here are missions you can complete to earn points:

5 points: Post about Impact on your blog, MySpace page, Friendster page, etc. to promote Impact's current show. Bulletins count, too! You could even send an email to at least 10 friends encouraging them to check us out and cc us on the email. Whatever you do to promote Impact's current show or event, let us know about it via email, and we'll add a point to your total. Do multiple things to keep Impact fresh in your friends' minds, and you'll receive five points for each one. Just keep us in the loop. Three of these gets you a free ticket—four gets you a free Impact T-shirt!

5 points: Refer a paid audience member. Let's say your alias is "Scar" (which it isn't; that one's taken already). You get someone to make a reservation and say "Scar sent me," and when that person shows up, you'll get 5 points for each paying audience member in that person's party. Alternately, you show up with three friends, and you'll get in for free.

15 points: Get 500 postcards from us for the current show and drop 50 of them at ten cafes, bars, restaurants, bookstores, etc. in and around Berkeley, email us and tell us where you put them (or send camera phone photos of them in their new locations), and we'll give you 15 points. That's a free ticket!
