Oh, the sex we could be having on these postcards!

Seriously, why did we never know that we could be getting 5x8 postcards so inexpensively, AND that it costs the same to mail them when you're mailing at the nonprofit bulk mail standard rate? We'd had a great deal on 10,000 4x6 postcards that we'd been working for years, but we never ever distributed all of them, not even for Othello.
Last week we got wind that we could be printing 5,000 5x8 postcards, just as fast and for a little less than our old deal for the 10,000 4x6 cards. And as it turns out we've been using 3rd-class mail to send our postcards, and you only get a break on 4x6 cards (or smaller) if you're sending them 1st-class.
Oh, and the room afforded by a 5x8 card! It's like we've been on a twin bed all these years, and suddenly we've leapfrogged the full and landed on a queen-sized mattress. Oh, the sex we could have on these postcards!
All this to say that the House of Lucky postcards are in, and we're pretty psyched. Soon you'll find them in cafes and bookstores, and if you're on our mailing list it'll be in the mail this week. Not on our mailing list? Fix that now.
