Let's see--what's happened so far this summer? Well...
- We spent a long and filthy Saturday cleaning out the backstage areas and the house. This included trashing most of the chairs (and 3+ trips to the dump), because...
-...new seats are being installed this weekend! Oh yes, oh yes. More trips to the dumps (and hazardous waste drop off) will ensue.
- Our season opener Ching Chong Chinaman (by superstar local playwright Lauren Yee) started rehearsals a few weeks ago. Desdemona Chiang, currently in the midst of a MFA in Directing from the University of Washington, has come back for the summer to direct. She's got a stellar cast and fabulous designers. Huzzah!
We're super pumped about the upcoming season--it's going to be RAD.
