Today was a lot mellower than yesterday. No load-in this morning, though Impact fans Stephen and Mark didn't know that and showed up early on their own initiative to help out. Sorry, guys, and thanks for staying and helping run the booth. And big thanks so Miyuki and Seth for helping break down the booth and load out. So, so, so, so, so much better than doing it myself.
It seemed like there were fewer people, and we didn't get quite as many sign-ups, but we still got about 450, I think -- still way more than the other festivals we attend. Gave away a lot more pizza/beer/splat buttons -- must reorder those in time for the other festivals.
Very curious to see now how effective this has been -- Impact's mailing list has just shot up more than 60% in two days, from 1,600 people to 2,600. That's craziness. Will we suddenly see a spike in attendance? Hope so...
