We've been in rehearsals for A Midsummer Night's Dream for two weeks now, and the show is shaping up to be hilarious. After so many tragedies in a row, we were all ready to cut a little loose. Setting the show in the 80s is definitely helping . . .
Casi Maggio is over-the-top funny as Bottom-- that's right, we have a female Bottom. Why not? Titania can fall for a female Bottom as easily as a male one, no? Marissa Keltie finally gets to show her comic chops as Helena. Dave Maier came in and choreographed the Helena/Hermia girl fight Monday night and it's awesome. This one's going to rock!
See you Feb 13!
