Our 80s Midsummer opened last night, and it is super-hot. The capacity crowd was delighted by the retro awesomeness on stage and the post-opening gala. We served up brownies splattered with neon icing, strawberry shortcake (get it?), and, of course, no 80s party would be complete without a tray of Triscuits and Easy Cheeze. Once La Val's closed for the night, we moved the party down to Beckett's, where we took over a room, got drunk, and polished off the Triscuits. Here's to six weekends of radness!
