We just keep adding more and more prizes to the poker tournament! We now have a second-place prize of a night at the luxuriously renovated Hotel Shattuck Plaza, a third-place prize of $200 in Saks Fifth Avenue gift cards, and more grab bag prizes: videogames from Eidos and gift baskets filled with gourmet poker snacks from Trader Joe's in Emeryville. Oh, and the $500 gift card arrived today from Amazon. I have to say, there's something quietly impressive about it.
