In this contemporary adaptation of Antigone, modern-day Thebes is run by the Bank family. After the death of patriarch Edward Bank, leadership of the state is left to his children. National unrest and familial infighting escalate to civil wars both frighteningly large and devastatingly personal. A final defiance could heal all wounds or destroy everything.
Featuring Rob Dario, Jacqueline Haines, Sarah Mitchell, Kendra Lee Oberhauser, Ryan Tasker, and Seth Thygesen
Written and directed by Jon Tracy, creator of Shotgun Players' recent hit The Farm

1 night only: beer theatre!
A completely academic and educational experiment in medieval drama: Two teams of actors. Two comic scenes from the Chester cycle. Pitchers and pitchers of beer.
Does alcohol affect an actor's ability to perform? How about more alcohol? OK, well, then how about more? Could medieval actors hold their liquor better than Impact actors? Did drinking during medieval festivals affect how the festival plays were performed? Come find out as two teams of actors perform comic scenes from the Chester cycle while drinking more and more (and more) beer.
Saturday, October 24 8pm
All tickets $5, available only at the door at 7:30pm

2009–10 season!
For the best seats to every Impact production this season at the best price, subscribe! For only $14 per play, we’ll reserve your favorite seats at any performance you wish. Last season we had dozens of sold-out shows where we had to turn many people away, but our subscribers had their seats waiting for them. And this season every subscriber gets one of Impact's brand-new pint glasses, seen to the left (a $10 value—uh, beer not included).
You don't need to commit to a particular night now; you can decide later which performance of each play you want to see. Just email us with at least 24 hours' notice, and we'll have your seat waiting for you, even if online sales have already sold out for that performance.
