A spare, haunting play based on the Jacobean tragedy The Changeling, Tallgrass Gothic takes place in the Great Plains, where Laura yearns to leave her hometown and escape her abusive husband. A lover appears to promise her a way out, but that path leads to a devastating climax. If you loved the gorgeous starkness of There Will Be Blood, this is your kind of play.
Thursday is a preview performance, and both Thursday and Saturday are pay-what-you-wish performances (rush tickets only, first-come, first-served). Note: these are the only pay-what-you-wish performances.
Friday is opening night—stay after the show for a little party!

If you came to any night of Ching Chong Chinaman, you saw how early you had to get to La Val's to get the seats you wanted. But subscribers got to arrive as late as they wanted and had their preferred seats waiting for them. Not only that, they got those seats for $13 each and got a limited-edition deck of Impact playing cards!
Great news: you can still subscribe to the remaining three shows of the season for only $39. You get to choose the night you want to attend—and you can decide with only a day's notice before your preferred performance.

We got so many compliments on the Tallgrass poster that we've decided to make it a wallpaper for your computer. Not only will it heat up your screen, it will also remind you that you need to get down to La Val's before Dec 20. Available in five sizes. Get it now.
